Written by The NZ Wrestling Team to compete at the Sydney Oceania Wrestling and Grappling Championships 27-29 January 2012 has been selected and posted below.
The NZ Wrestling Team selected this year is a good mixture of experience and youth. Sam Belkin NZ commonwealth Games representative will be attempting to qualify for the London Olympics at this the first of the qualifying tournaments along with Clinton Davies who is seasoned international competitor.
The Juniors and cadets travelling and competing this year, we hope will be our future representatives at commonwealth, Olympics and World Championships.
We have a strong female contingent this year lead by Tayla Ford and Koria Pouri-Lane.
